WHAT WE DID:
Day 1:
After a 3.5 hour train from Vienna (Austria), we arrived in Prague at 3:30pm. We walked straight to the Airbnb to drop off our bags. Then we went for a wonder throughout the city centre. We watched the ‘Astronomical Clock’ ding as it reach 5pm, walked through Old Town, went through the narrowest walkway in Prague, called Vinárna Čertovkatraffic, which had a traffic light for pedestrians, and got a beautiful view of the city from Prague Castle. We watched the sunset deliver a pink sky as we walked over the Charles Bridge. Everywhere was so beautiful. We popped into ‘Bills’ grocery and picked up some very cheap food for dinner that we cooked back in the cute studio apartment.

Day 2:
We woke up at 7am, cooked breakfast, and then left at 9:30am to meet the walking guide in Old Town at 10am. This 2.5 hour ‘free walking tour’ took us through many streets in Old Town, including Jan Hus Memorial, the Marian Column, Astronomical Clock, Church of Our Lady before Týn, New City Hall, Pantheon of the National Museum, the Jewish Quarter and the Old Jewish Cemetery (which had up to 12 layers of graves – it was several metres above street level).

The tour finished by the water. From there, my partner and I walked over the Charles Bridge and went into Prague Chocolate Steiner & Kovarik (where I spent way too much money). We then visited the John Lennon Wall, before heading back over the Charles Bridge to our accommodation. I bought some stationary and souvenirs from ePiPí – Prodejna radostí. We picked up lunch and then ventured into New Town, where I tried on some clothes (I really liked the fashion here). We had an early/chill night in apartment.
Day 3:
I woke up at 5:30am (I did a virtual job interview), ate brekky and then went for a stunning run along the water. After freshening up, we checked out at of the Airbnb at 11am, and made our way to the train station, where we sat in the lovely park waiting for the train.
